Is my studio data private?

Yes. Your inventory, prices, clients, and sales belong to your account only. Another jeweller's login cannot open your studio.

Does it work outside Switzerland?

Yes. Many studios use CHF, but you can work in EUR or USD. The site and app are in English and French.

Is this accounting software?

No. It helps you price pieces, make lists and quotes, keep stock, and record sales. Costs stay editable. It is not a rigid bookkeeping system that locks every number.

Can I change a price after I set it?

Yes. Save a sell price, tweak it, make a quote or a price list, and change it again until it feels right. That flexibility is part of the design.

Do I have to log every material before I can work?

No. Scan supplier invoices when you can. If you find something in the workshop, keep working and reconcile when you are calm.

Is there a free way to try it?

Yes. Apprentice is free. Create an account and confirm your email. During early access, new accounts may need a short approval before the full studio opens. You will see a clear message if that is the case.

Do I need to install anything?

The full studio runs in your browser at alloyandledger.com. For the bench and the road, add the companion to your home screen from Safari or Chrome. No App Store.

What happens to my data if I stop?

Your data stays in your private studio until you leave. You can export sales summaries when you need them. If you stop using the service, contact us about continuity. We take studio records seriously.
