Is my studio data private?

Yes. Your studio is a private workspace: inventory, pricing, clients, and sales are scoped to your account only. Row-level security in the database means another jeweler's login cannot read your Vault, Bench, or Ledger.

Does it work outside Switzerland?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Many studios register in Switzerland with CHF, but you can set your operating currency to EUR or USD in Studio Profile. Pulse, pricing, and The Ledger all work in that currency. The app is in English and French.

Is there a free trial or way to explore before committing?

Accepted Answer

There is no timed free trial. Create a studio account and confirm your email to open your workspace. During early access, new accounts may need approval before you see the full dashboard. You'll see a clear message in the app if that's the case. Once approved, log in anytime.

Do I need to install anything?

The full studio runs in your browser at alloyandledger.com. No desktop installer. For the road, add the companion to your home screen from Safari or Chrome (Quick Pricing, Showroom, material stock, Ledger, invoice scan). No App Store required.

What happens to my data if I stop using the service?

Accepted Answer

Your data stays in your private studio until you choose to leave. Export sales and fiscal summaries from The Ledger as CSV for your accountant at any time. If you stop using the service, contact us about continuity. We treat your bench records seriously.
