Alloy & Ledger helps solo ateliers answer what a piece really costs: metal at today's market rate, stones, bench labor, finishing, and margin — without spreadsheets that fall behind when gold moves overnight. The product splits cleanly between a phone companion (Progressive Web App) for Quick Pricing, Showroom tiers, material stock in The Vault, sales in The Ledger, invoice scanning, and studio settings — and a full browser studio for Pulse market watch, The Bench BOM pipeline, finished-piece inventory, The Lab, Workshop production stages, clients, suppliers, Market Channels, and deep setup.

The platform is aimed at independent makers — apprentices, bench workers, and small studio owners — especially in Switzerland (CHF default, VAT-aware sales) while supporting EUR and USD operating currencies. Market data comes from Metals.dev; the stack is Next.js on Vercel with Supabase for auth and data.

Public pages are available in English (`/en/...`) and French (`/fr/...`); locale middleware redirects bare paths to the visitor's preferred language.
